TJ Rosengarth

 

TJ brings over 35 years of experience in commercial leadership and manufacturing excellence with a deep expertise in the wood products industry and a talent for developing strong teams. Most recently, TJ served as President & CEO of Collins, a family-owned business operating softwood and hardwood mills since 1855, where he led a seven-fold increase in EBITDA in one year. Prior to Collins, TJ was an Operating Partner at American Industrial Partners (“AIP”), during which time he also served as President and CEO of Optimas Solutions.  Prior to his role as an AIP Partner, TJ served as CEO of Northwest Hardwoods, a highly successful AIP investment with approximately $750 million in annual revenue, 1250 employees, and 30 operating locations.

 

Other executive roles that TJ has held include: COO at Flakeboard, of Composite Panels at Weyerhaeuser, and multiple operational leadership roles at Willamette Industries. TJ has deep acquisition experience with 24 acquired businesses, almost all within the building products / wood products vertical.

 

TJ has had a long-term relationship with StoneTree team members since 2011 after being recruited from Flakeboard to join Northwest Hardwoods as CEO. 

 

In addition to serving on the StoneTree Council, TJ provides forest products executive services from his home base near Bend, Oregon, and serves on the Board of Directors at AHF Products, a former AIP investment.

TJ received a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Portland State University and completed Stanford University’s Executive Development Program.
