Matthew Dakil

 

Mr. Dakil is an experienced private equity investor and business development professional with extensive buy-side experience identifying and executing compelling investment opportunities across several industry verticals. 

Previously, Mr. Dakil served as Vice President and Head of Business Development with Hemingway Capital where he led origination efforts, cultivated relationships with key market participants, and built a strong pipeline of attractive investment opportunities. Earlier in his career, he worked at a regional investment bank specializing in public finance, underwriting, and fixed income sales and trading.

Mr. Dakil earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from the University of Dallas and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through fitness and travel, exploring new restaurants, playing cards, listening to music, fishing, watching sports, and attempting to improve his golf game.
