Steve Harris

 

Steve brings over 31 years of leadership experience in global organizations driven by high-precision engineering, with deep expertise in industrial technology, capital equipment, aftermarket excellence, and commercial growth. As a serial CEO, Steve has led companies across test and measurement (ITW Balance Engineering and Micro-Poise), ultrahigh-pressure technologies (Shape Technologies Group), and most recently advanced LED lighting solutions (Current Lighting). 

 

Steve has a long-term relationship with StoneTree team members dating back to 2010 where he served as CEO of Micro-Poise, the leading global provider of precision measurement and inspection systems and associated aftermarket parts and service for the global tire industry. The Micro-Poise investment resulted in a successful exit to Ametek (NYSE: AME) and Steve’s team generated a 5.9x MOIC and 35% IRR (returns publicly disclosed).

 

In addition to serving on the StoneTree Council, Steve is currently the CEO of Current Lighting, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners and a market leader in LED lighting solutions.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys traveling, boating, and fishing with his family, as well as coaching youth sports and volunteering for local charities in both Fort Myers, Florida and the Greenville, SC area.  Steve’s family charitable fund supports multiple local and national charities.

Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Master of Business Administration from Oakland University.
