Art Koch is a leading expert in transforming supply chains. He has 43 years of industrial experience across a wide range of industries, including industrial technology, capital equipment, building products, specialty transportation, wholesale and distribution.  Aggregate results: increased company valuation of nearly $1 billion, inventory reduction of over $200 million, and improved customer service by an average of 23% per project. Importantly, Art takes a people-centric approach to coach and build sustainable results.

 

Art has been working alongside StoneTree team members since 2012 while serving at AIP companies: Micro-Poise (now Ametek), Shape Technologies Group, acpi (now CabinetWorks), Heil Trailer (now EnTrans), and Optimas Solutions.

 

Fun fact: before university training, Art was a journeyman machinist. He worked at a racer-friendly machine shop in Michigan and, during the late 1980s, helped machine eight of the top ten finishers’ turbochargers at the Indy 500.

 

Art holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.

 

In his free time, Art and his wife Sara enjoy scuba diving, underwater photography, travel to Spain, and someday plan to take both an African safari and an Antarctic expedition.
